Welcome to Hariraj Central Model School
HARIRAJ CENTRAL MODEL SCHOOL, Hansghara, Magra, Hooghly is under LAL BAHADUR SINGH CHARITABLE TRUST, registered under Indian Trust Act. 1882 and classes are from Nursery to Class VIII. It was established by Mr. Ratan Kumar Singh and Mrs Madhuri Singh with the help of their family and the great response of well wishers of education. Initially it started with the primary classes (Nur to V).
Later it was upgraded upto upper primary classes (Nur to VIII). It was inaugurated by Late Lal Bahadur Singh and came into the existence in the memory of their beloved mother, “Late Hariraj Devi”.
AIMS AND IDEALS
The purpose of education is to teach a child to see his duty to his fellowmen, to his country and to his God; to infuse him with the desire and the energy to fulfill his duty with all his powers; to be acutely conscious of the demands mankind is forever making on him; and to be less conscious of what he loves to regard as his own rights. These are the higher things. This is the aim and this is the motto of HARIRAJ CENTRAL MODEL SCHOOL.
The main source of inspiration is the teaching of Late Hariraj Devi and Late Lal Bahadur Singh. No sectarian religion is taught, but care is taken to make the students truly on their own religions. At the same time, Late Hariraj Devi’s ideas about education are sought to be applied. She said, ‘The core of all type of learning is based on humanity’.
